Thomas Paul Maritime Dinner Plates (Set of 4)
I first saw this collection out in Cape Cod on one of our bi-annual visits to our beloved Provincetown. (Is 'bi-annual' every two years or twice every year? Anyway - we go every other year.) I love them. They're so beautifully designed with an edge of fun due to the hard-waring melamine. This also makes them perfect for use outdoors to add glamour and a touch of design beauty to a picnic or barbecue.
The plates are 29.5cm in diameter - the size of a proper dinner plate.
Thomas Paul Fernez was born and raised in New York City. He got his start in the fashion industry working as an intern at DKNY after graduating from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in textile design. While working as a colorist and designer for a silk mill specializing in neckwear and scarves, he worked on neckwear collections for such designers as Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, and DKNY. This eventually led to the creation of his own neckwear collection and the start of the thomaspaul pillow collection, launched in 2001. Since then the line has steadily expanded into other categories including tabletop, stationery, and lamp shades. The ultimate goal being to have products covering every aspect of the home, all with thomaspaul patterns gracing them.
