Pair of Gift Boxed Traditional Absinthe Glasses
These are traditional Absinthe glasses, designed with a reservoir to guide the measure of Absinthe (the bubble at the bottom of the glass). This particular design is called the Pontarlier, after the small, sleepy town which was once the largest manufacturer of Absinthe in the world. Obviously, you don't have to drink Absinthe from them: they'd work well for any short, but we think it's the height of sophistication to own your own set of glasses made to consume such a legendary and mysterious beverage - what a talking point!
The glasses are hand blown glass and each one measures 14(H) x 8.2(diameter) at the mouth and 7.9(diameter) cm at the base.
They are sold as a pair, and come in a lovely gift box, decorated in silver typography on a black back ground, and lined with a copy of an antique French bar bill.
